Syrian Prime Minister Signals Cooperation As Opposition Claims Capital
Al-Jallali addressed the nation in a video statement on Sunday following the opposition's announcement of the government's collapse.

"We, in the Council of Ministers, extend our hand to every Syrian citizen concerned about the future and decisions of this country," Al-Jallali said, urging citizens to refrain from causing damage to public and state property.

Speaking from his residence, Al-Jallali emphasized his willingness to work with any leader chosen by the people of Syria.

Meanwhile, Ahmad al-Shar’a, also known as Abu Mohammad Al-Jolani, the head of the opposition group Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham and self-declared commander of the Syrian opposition's operations, issued a statement urging Syrians to avoid approaching government institutions and facilities until an official handover is conducted under the supervision of the former prime minister.

Al-Jolani also called on opposition forces to refrain from celebratory gunfire, emphasizing the need for discipline and order in the current critical phase.

The developments mark a significant turning point in Syria’s political crisis, with both sides appealing for calm as the country faces a potential transition of power.
