Arab news sources reported that the sound of several explosions was heard near the Syrian capital of Damascus on Sunday night.
Reports added that the Syrian air defense systems confronted the Israeli regime's attacks on the al-Dimass region.
A military source said that the airstrikes were carried out from the occupied Golan Heights, adding that the attacks left two civilians injured and some material damage.
Some Syrian sources also reported that the research centers of the Syrian army in the northwest of Damascus, as well as a building in the west of the capital, were targeted.
Meanwhile, news sources reported that the Syrian army thwarted a terrorist attack in southern Idlib.
