Pakistan Has Always Called for a Ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon: Pakistan COAS

The Pakistani Army Chief while addressing the Margallah Dialogue 2024 on Friday in Islamabad said that the world is facing many challenges in recent years, among which the rapid spread of false and misleading information is an important challenge, endless changes are taking place in economy, military and technology at the global level.  "Our common goals include tackling climate change, the fight against terrorism and global health delivery," he said. 

Talking about the issue of terrorism, he said terrorism is a common challenge for all humanity at the global level, our determination in the fight against terrorism is unwavering.  He added that a comprehensive border management regime has been put in place to secure our western borders. Talking about Occupied Kashmir, the Army Chief said that the solution of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is inevitable according to the resolutions of the United Nations and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.  

Syed Asim Munir while mentioning the ongoing Israeli aggression in Palestine and Lebanon said that Pakistan has always called for a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, Pakistan has sent several humanitarian aid to Gaza and Lebanon and Pakistan has always emphasized the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.  

He further said that we will not be a part of any global conflict but will continue to play our role for peace and stability in the world and Pakistan will always play its positive role for regional and world peace.
