Trump Approves Plan to Mediate Lebanese Ceasefire

Trump green-lit the proposal following a briefing from Dermer, and expressed hope that it would be implemented before he takes office on January 20, 2025, Wall Street Journal reported. 

The report comes after the US ambassador to Lebanon was said to have submitted a draft proposal for a ceasefire agreement to Lebanon’s Parliament Speaker, Nabih Berri on Thursday.
