Hezbollah Strikes Israeli Weapons Facility in Initial Response to Lebanon Attack
The Hezbollah resistance movement announced on Sunday that it had launched an attack on the military industry facilities of Rafael, a major Israeli defense company located in the Zevulun region, north of Haifa.

The resistance group stated that the strike, which involved dozens of Fadi 1, Fadi 2, and Katyusha rockets, was a demonstration of solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza, while also serving as an "initial response" to a "brutal massacre" carried out by Israel in various parts of Lebanon.

Hezbollah's statement referred to a mass explosion of telecommunication devices, including pagers and walkie-talkies belonging to Hezbollah members, which detonated across Lebanon on Tuesday and Wednesday. The blasts resulted in the deaths of 42 people and left nearly 3,500 others injured.

Preliminary findings from Lebanese authorities indicate that the devices had been implanted with explosives before entering the country and were triggered remotely via electronic messages.

Reports from US media claim that the attack was a coordinated effort between the Israeli military and the Mossad spy agency.

Hezbollah has vowed further retaliation against Israel.

The Rafael company, targeted in Sunday's strike, is one of Israel's largest defense contractors, producing advanced systems for armored vehicles, missile defense, and various types of guided weapons.
