Hungarian Intelligence Steps in to Address Pager Explosion in Lebanon
Over 450 people were seriously injured among thousands injured last week during two consecutive days due to the explosion of communication devices.

More than 4,000 pagers exploded on Tuesday and wireless radio communication devices exploded on Wednesday due to Israeli sabotage attacks inside Lebanon.

Reuters said on Saturday quoting Hungary's government that the Hungarian intelligence forces have interrogated the Director General of BAC Consulting Company over the recent explosion of the pagers in Lebanon.

The Taiwanese company 'Gold Apollo' declared last week's Wednesday that the pagers were made in a Hungarian company using the brand license of the Taiwanese company and it was not involved in the production of the devices.

Cristiana Barsony-Arcidiacono, 49, is the Italian-Hungarian Director-General of the BAC Consulting company who denied in an interview the manufacturing of the pagers and said that he was just a dealer.

The Office of International Media for Hungary stated that the investigations about the issue in question began on Wednesday and the country's intelligence service has talked with Barsony.

Viktor Orbán's administration previously announced that BAC was a commercial intermediary company that had no factories in Hungary.
The Israeli regime assassinated the Head of the Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniya late July, in Tehran the capital of Iran where he had been attending the inauguration of the country's new president.
