Trump understands his B-team wants to drag US into war with Iran

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Monday Trump has to prove in action whether he seeks to fall into line with the league of anti-Iran domestic and regional officials.

“B-Team's Economic Terrorism is hurting the Iranian people and causing tension in the region. Actions—not words—will show whether or not that's Donald Trump's intent,” Zarif tweeted.

In late April, Zarif identified the B-Team as Bolton, Netanyahu, Bin Salman, and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

“I think it is very fair from Mr. Zarif to ask what exactly Mr. Trump wants to do. It’s quite clear that the people he calls the B-team, Mr. Netanyahu, Mr. Bolton, and then Bin Salman want to drag the United States into a war with Iran which should be not only horribly hazardous to the region and possibly to the entire world, but Mr. Trump should understand what distorts his presidency the same Mr. Bolton has destroyed Mr. Bush’s presidency in Iraq,” Jatras – a former US Senate foreign policy analyst said.

“He seems sometimes to understand that. He seems to want to walk back on some of the militant steps you hear from the other sources of pressure but you don’t really know where exactly he wants to go with it, and perhaps he himself doesn’t know,” he added.  
“All we can hope is that he is more prudent instincts of sorts we heard in the 2016 campaign will be the final word on what happens next rather than being pulled into something with incalculable destructive consequences,” he concluded.
