IRGC Seizes Vessel Smuggling Fuel in Sea of Oman

The chief justice of Jask in Iran’s southern province of Hormozgan said the military forces have seized the vessel that was smuggling 60,000 liters of fuel.

He noted that six people have been arrested in connection with the crime.

Last year, the IRGC Navy had confiscated a foreign tanker carrying two million liters of smuggled fuel in the southern waters.

The IRGC Navy has been using modern detection equipment in recent years to monitor all movements in the Persian Gulf waters and maintain the security of the marine route.
