Iraqi Resistance Fighters Strike Israeli Position in Golan Heights in Retaliation for Gaza Strikes
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group of anti-terror fighters, announced via its Telegram channel on Tuesday that it carried out the attack using an al-Arfad kamikaze drone.

The group stated that the strike was part of its ongoing resistance against Israel, aimed at supporting Palestinians in Gaza and retaliating for the Israeli genocidal war against unarmed civilians.

The coalition also vowed to continue targeting strategic installations across the Israeli-occupied territories.

On Sunday, the resistance group claimed responsibility for a similar operation, saying it had targeted Israeli military sites in the Jordan Valley with Arfad drones. It reported that most of the drones successfully hit their targets, as Israeli defense systems failed to intercept many of them.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has been conducting attacks on Israeli targets since the outbreak of the war on Gaza in October of the previous year.

Israel’s military campaign has focused on Gaza, hitting hospitals, residential buildings, and places of worship, following a surprise offensive by Palestinian resistance groups on October 7.

According to recent figures, at least 41,455 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed, and 95,878 injured. The Israeli war has displaced an estimated 1.9 million people within Gaza, some of whom have been forced to relocate multiple times.
