Islam Times - Palestinian Child Killed by Israeli Forces in Khan Younis

Islam Times - Israeli forces have shot and killed a Palestinian child in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, the Wafa news agency reported.

The minor was targeted in the eastern part of the city, where Israeli forces have continued to open fire on civilians despite the ceasefire, sometimes with deadly consequences.

Earlier this week, the Israeli military launched an airstrike on a vehicle along the Gaza coast, claiming that it was unauthorized to travel on that route.

Palestinians returning to Khan Younis are struggling to find shelter amid widespread destruction while also facing severe shortages of clean water, Wafa reported.

Residents say the city's water and sewage infrastructure has been largely destroyed, leading to an irregular and costly supply.

“We used to have our own water pump, but the occupation’s bulldozers, during their ground invasion of Khan Younis, buried the well and placed large amounts of rubble and sand over its opening,” local resident Ayman al-Ashtal told Wafa.

Islam al-Madhoun, another resident, described the dire situation: “These days, we are living without water, and you can imagine what a day without water is like when you have children and elderly people.”
