Islam Times - The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Navy unveiled a new underground missile facility in Iran’s southern port city of Bandar Abbas.

The strategic facility, accommodating a large quantity of long-range and mid-range AI-powered missiles with new features, was unveiled by IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami.

In remarks at the event on Sunday, General Salami said the IRGC Navy has managed to store all of its coast-to-sea missile systems inside safe and robust constructions in subterranean tunnels.

Each of those safe underground facilities, known as missile cities, contains a large number of systems and missiles, the commander said, adding that the facilities are located in various areas, such as coastlines and inland regions.

He said the new missiles have ranges above 1,000 kilometers, adding that the IRGC Navy can accurately hit various targets in the sea and on the ground.

Highlighting a huge leap in the precision and destructive power of the missiles, General Salami said the IRGC Navy’s capabilities are covert and cannot be calculated by the enemies.

One of the missiles unveiled in the underground facility was the Qadr-380 long-range missile. It integrates artificial intelligence and can evade radars and detection due to its low altitude.

Qadr-380 has been equipped with a warhead containing new powerful ammunition with great destructive power, several times higher than the previous generations.

The missile is integrated with a diversity radar in the final phase of guidance, allowing it to hit a specific part of the hostile target.

Qadr-380 can also approach the target from various directions and counter electronic warfare.
