UK Foreign Office Issues Travel Warning for the United States

The warning comes in the aftermath of the incident in the U.S., which has raised concerns over safety. In a statement released Wednesday night, the UK Foreign Office urged British citizens currently in the United States, as well as those planning to travel there, to visit the ministry's website for detailed advice, alerts, and support options.

The Daily Mirror quoted David Lammy, the UK Foreign Secretary, who reassured citizens of the availability of consular support in the United States. Lammy said that the UK consulates in America are ready to assist British citizens.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer also condemned the attack, calling it a "terrorist act" and expressing solidarity with the victims and their families.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports suggest heightened security measures in the UK in response to recent incidents in the United States.
