Pentagon Mum on F-16 Fighter Jet Downed in Zaporozhye Region

Islam Times - The US Department of Defense (DOD) does not comment on reports that an F-16 fighter jet of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was shot down in the Zaporozhye Region, a department’s spokesperson said.

"DOD has no statement or information to provide. We’d refer you to Ukraine for any details on the below," the spokesperson said.

Chairman of Russia’s Civic Chamber Commission on Sovereignty, Patriotic Projects and Support of Veterans Vladimir Rogov told TASS on Thursday that the F-16 aircraft was downed in the Zaporozhye Region when preparing for a missile strike on the region.
