Islam Times - Domestic flights at Syria's Aleppo and Damascus airports have recommenced following a 10-day halt due to recent upheavals in the country.
Syrian media reported on Wednesday that operations at Aleppo and Damascus international airports have resumed after a period of suspension caused by recent events in the nation.
A civilian aircraft departed from Aleppo Airport, conducting domestic passenger transport within Syria.
Concurrently, a flight from Damascus Airport was dispatched to Aleppo.
Flight activities in Aleppo ceased following the city's fall and subsequent attacks by opposition forces on its eastern regions, leading to the airport's capture by these groups.
Similarly, on December 8, with the fall of Damascus and the collapse of President Bashar al-Assad's government, Damascus Airport suspended all flights until further notice.
After a 10-day interruption, flight operations have now resumed.
