Islam Times - Lebanese Army Says 'Israeli Enemy Violates Ceasefire Several Times'

Islam Times - Lebanese Army in a post on the X platform announced that "The Israeli enemy breached the ceasefire several times on Wedensday and Thursday.

The Lebanese Army said that the Israeli enemy targeted Southern Lebanon territories with various weapons, and the Army is following up on Israeli violations with the relevant authorities.

According to the post, Israeli forces violated the ceasefire agreement several times on Wedensday November 27, and Thursday, November 28, 2024.

These breaches included aerial violations and attacks on Lebanese territory using various weapons, the Lebanese Army added without commenting on the details of Israeli attacks.

Moreover, the Army Command confirmed it was closely monitoring these violations in coordination with relevant authorities to address the situation.

Meanwhile, The Israel Army said on Thursday that it had carried out an airstrike on southern Lebanon. Israeli Army claimed that its warplanes targeted a Hezbollah missile storage in southern Lebanon.

Not Hezbollah, Nor the Lebanese Army confirmed that Israeli claim.

In another incident, according to Lebanon National News Agency, at least two people were injured after Israeli forces shot at people who approached their homes near border areas which Israel says are still restricted areas.

Israeli Army said that its forces fired 'warning shots' in several cases at individuals in several areas of southern Lebanon. Also, a drone fired a missile near the people as a warning measure.

On Early Wednesday (04:00 Beirut Local Time), a 60-day ceasefire came into effect after 417 days of all-out war against Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Massacre in Gaza.

The ceasefire agreement was announced after nearly 14 months of Israeli attacks on Lebanon when Hezbollah kicked off a military operation to support the Palestinian people against the Israeli genocidal war in Gaza after October 7, 2023.

The Lebanese health ministry announced on Thursday that more than 3,961 people were martyred in Israeli attacks and 16,520 others injured in Israeli attacks.

In Gaza, Israeli massacres are continued. At least 42 Palestinians were killed in the latest Israeli air strikes on Gaza on Thursday.

Israeli savage attacks on Gaza have killed at least 44,330 Palestinians and wounded 104,933 since October 7, 2023.
