Trump Stages Garbage Truck Event to Counter Biden’s
In the swing state of Wisconsin, with just days until the US presidential election, Trump donned an orange sanitation vest and climbed into a garbage truck, symbolically responding to Biden’s recent "garbage" remark.

Speaking from the truck, Trump declared, "This truck is in honor of Biden and Kamala Harris," referencing the Democratic presidential candidate and current vice president.

Trump’s event came after Biden used the term “garbage” in a campaign call, a word Trump and his supporters argue was aimed at them. Biden clarified, however, that his comments were a criticism of a racist joke made at a Trump rally, where comedian Tony Hinchcliffe described Puerto Rico, a US territory largely populated by Latinos, as a "floating island of garbage."

Trump, who has not apologized for the joke, claimed he was unfamiliar with Hinchcliffe, saying, “I have no idea who he is.” During his Wisconsin event, Trump insisted, “250 million Americans are not garbage,” accusing Biden of failing to respect US citizens. He added, “You can’t lead America if you don’t love Americans.”

Over recent weeks, Trump has intensified his rhetoric against his opponents, labeling them “enemies of the people” and pledging to prosecute, imprison, or deploy the military against them if re-elected.

Meanwhile, actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger endorsed Kamala Harris on Wednesday, emphasizing a patriotic commitment over party loyalty. “I will always be an American before I am a Republican,” Schwarzenegger stated on social media. “That’s why, this week, I am voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.”

Schwarzenegger has long criticized Trump, and in his endorsement, he condemned Trump’s unwillingness to accept the 2020 election outcome, calling it “as un-American as it gets.” He expressed anger over the divisive language, saying, “Calling America a trash can for the world is so unpatriotic. It makes me furious.”

Warning against a second Trump presidency, Schwarzenegger said, “He will divide, he will insult, he will find new ways to be more un-American than he already has been.”
