Islam Times - Ayatollah Khamenei Holds Meeting with Islamic States Ambassadors

Islam Times - The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei held a meeting with the ambassadors of Islamic countries to Iran on Saturday.

The meeting is underway on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and the 6th Shia Imam Hazrat Ja'far al-Sadiq (AS).

Iranian officials, ambassadors of Islamic countries to Iran, and the participants of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference are attending the meeting.

"If the Islamic Ummah uses its inner strength, the Zionist regime will be removed from the heart of the Islamic community," Ayatollah Khamenei said in his remarks, adding that one of the greatest lessons that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught Muslims is the formation of the Islamic Ummah. "The Islamic world needs this lesson today," he stressed.

Referring to the Israeli regime's barbaric crimes in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Lebanon, the Leader states that unity among the Muslims can create a power that could lead to the elimination of the Zionist regime and removal of the US influence and interference in the region.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated his call on the Islamic states to cut economic ties with Tel Aviv, saying that cutting economic relations with the Israeli regime is the least the Islamic countries can do. "This must be done," he emphasized.
