According to the Islam Times, The Kaduna State High Court on Monday morning 5 August 2019, presided over by Judge Darius Khobo, has ordered the release of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaki, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, and his wife for treatment abroad, subject to conditions and under the temporary supervision of the Nigerian government.
According to this ruling, "Sheikh Zakzaky" and his wife were transferred from Abuja, the capital of India, to the Indian capital on Monday, August 12, 2019, to undergo treatment there. But the Indian government had given the sheikh a two-hour deadline to either accept treatment under the same conditions or return to Nigeria, where he was treated like a criminal due to his poor treatment in India, and the lack of choice for treatment forced him to return to Nigeria.
It is important to note that at the same time, 187 Iranian and non-Iranian physicians warned of the spread of lead poisoning in the blood and tissues of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, citing the vital signs and clinical examinations of the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, and stressed that he should be transferred to a specialized hospital as soon as possible.
In this regard, while the immediate treatment of "Sheikh Zakzaky" and his wife is very necessary due to the presence of many pieces of bullets in their body, and if these pieces move in millimeters, the sheikh's life will be endangered. On the other hand, Nigerian hospitals do not have the necessary facilities to treat the sheikh, the "Islam Times" reporter asked a member of the office of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria about the process of transferring him abroad.
The member of the office of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, who did not want to be named, clarified in this regard: The current problem with transferring him abroad for treatment is that the sheikh's passport has been in the hands of the government since his medical visit to India and has not yet been returned to him.
He added: Of course, the team of lawyers is pursuing to obtain his passport from the government, and after that, the necessary measures will be taken to obtain a visa and prepare for his trip outside Nigeria.
This member of the office of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, noting that "Sheikh Zakzaky" relies on God and God willing, will help him, he noted that the departure of the sheikh from the country requires serious follow-up because the Nigerian government does not want to release the sheikh, even after his release from court, the Nigerian government objected to the decision and did not accept it.
Asked if he had heard that the Nigerian government was seeking the re-arrest of Sheikh Zakzaky on false pretenses and charges, he stated: Yes, this is exactly the case, because 15 minutes after Sheikh Zakzaky left the court, three police cars were sent to the court to arrest the sheikh, but they did not reach the sheikh.
This member of the office of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria stated: El-Rufa'i, the ruler of Kaduna State, could not order the arrest of Sheikh Zakzaky from the Nigerian police or the DSS, but had to ask the government to arrest him, On the other hand, it seems that the officials of this security organization have no desire to implement this issue, as evidenced by the decision of the senior DSS officials, because if they had taken care of this issue and put it on their agenda, of course, they would have had to arrest the Sheikh again by now, and of course, perhaps because they themselves were annoyed by this injustice against the Nigerian Shiite leader, and for sure, they have reached the point where El-Rufa'i has made a big mistake, which is why they are no longer willing to continue this oppression against the Sheikh and his companions.
The source in the office of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria emphasized: On the other hand, this issue should not be overlooked, and that is the atmosphere in the public opinion in Nigeria due to the oppression of the sheikh over the years. In fact, military and security officials are unable to carry out the orders of government officials, who are the servants of the United States and the Zionist regime and Saudi Arabia.
The Sheikh himself believes that the incident of his arrest, the period of his imprisonment and his illness are all tests of God, which are full of God's wisdom, and since God Almighty wanted him to complete this test, he has also provided the means and conditions. These include the lack of support from the Nigerian security and military forces, as well as the prevailing public opinion that has greatly contributed to the Sheikh's release.
At the end of the interview, the member of the office of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria emphasized: Given these problems, the Nigerian people have stated that they will continue their protests until the status of "Sheikh Zakzaky" is determined, unless "Sheikh Zakzaki" himself orders that the intensity of these demonstrations, which are held every day except Saturdays and Sundays, be reduced or ended.
